Driver Amplifiers A key area of expertise lies in data driver amplifiers for driving optical modulators at bit rates up to 20 Gb/s and beyond. Features include output level monitors, bias tees and level control. These amplifiers typically deliver 7 v pk-pk into a modulator and designs are available for both NRZ and RZ signal formats. Clock Amplifiers Our clock amplifiers incorporate a number of special functions to enable very close control of the whole system, these can include; Frequency doubling, Frequency halving, phase adjustment and amplitude adjustment. The control signal may be digital or analogue. Vector Network Analysers The LA19-13 series of PC-driven VNAs offer extensive capabilities at affordable prices. They are suitable for measuring reflection and transmission characteristics over 3-3000 MHz and the easy-to-use software offers a range of measurement and display options. |

 In House Facilities In-house facilities include: CNC machining and mechanical inspection; Class 100 clean room with chip assembly and wire bonding facilities; fully automatic pick and place machine for surface mount devices; CAD tools for both circuit and mechanical design; time and frequency domain analysis software; electronic test equipment to 50 GHz including vector network analysers, sampling oscilloscopes and BER test sets.
